Highland Peak is the highest mountain in the northern Sierra Nevada range, the longest continuous and unified mountain chain in the United States. Highland Peak rises to 10,936 feet (3,333 meters) in the California Alpine region, and is a landmark on the Pacific Crest Trail. Interlocking groups of triangles arranged in unbroken bands celebrate the Sierra Nevada and Highland Peak, a landmark in the unbroken chain of mountains known as “The Range of Light.”
